The knitted gift
Just wanted to share something I saw in the NY Times today - their slide show of unique gifts for the discerning shopper. Two items were knit and kinda cool. Check it out! The felted trees are meant to cover table top items like ketchup bottles.
I hate to say - but I don't mind pooling. I know it really does bother some people though. I think it is kinda cool - funky, if you will. I am sorry you are unhappy with the socks - i think they are pretty. The scarf - isn't it funny that some kits come with yarn that really DOESN'T want to be what was intended? Go up a needle size or two and see if the yarn decides to cooperate then.

I wonder how they'll deal with the wax dripping on the knit?
I like the idea, it brightens up the candle holders :-)
